Fragrance Notes
The first impression, and usually the lightest part of the fragrance. These notes evaporate first, which is how a fragrance is built to open.
As well as the top notes fading, your nose adapts to a constant scent and stops registering it, while people nearby still smell it. Smell your wrist after leaving the room, or ask someone close.
The main body of the scent, emerging as the top notes fade. It shapes how the fragrance smells once it settles on skin.

Heavier molecules that evaporate slowly, like woods, musk, amber and oud. They are there from the start, and they are what remains once the rest has faded.

TL;DR
- Green fruity chypre, apple and bergamot opening
- Best for: everyday wear
Aether opens on green apple, bergamot and mandarin orange, moves through cedar, petitgrain, cashmeran and violet, then settles into musk, oakmoss and amberwood. The structure runs from crisp green citrus into a woody-floral middle and a dry, mossy woody base, built for everyday wear.
What Does Aether Smell Like?
Aether opens with green apple, bergamot and mandarin orange, a crisp, slightly tart citrus accord that leans green rather than sweet. The apple in particular keeps the opening from reading as a conventional citrus cologne, giving it a snapped, orchard-fruit edge alongside the more familiar bergamot brightness. Cedar and petitgrain move in underneath, joined by cashmeran and violet, which soften the sharpness of the opening into something rounder and faintly powdery without becoming an obviously floral fragrance — cashmeran in particular does a lot of work here, adding a soft, musky-woody warmth that bridges the green top and the drier base rather than sitting as its own separate note. The base of musk, oakmoss and amberwood closes on a dry, mossy, woody note that reads more classic-chypre than sweet or gourmand, with the oakmoss giving it a slightly bitter-green undertone that echoes the apple and bergamot from the opening. Taken as a whole, the fragrance runs from a bright green citrus opening, through a woody-floral middle carried by cashmeran and violet, into a dry mossy-amber finish, with each layer built on the one before it rather than replacing it outright, so traces of the green top note remain detectable even once the base has fully settled in.
How Does It Develop Through the Day?
The first phase belongs to green apple and bergamot, with mandarin orange adding brightness and a touch of sweetness to the otherwise crisp opening; this stage is at its most vivid in the first twenty minutes or so, before the citrus begins to recede. As that lifts, cedar and petitgrain come forward, giving the fragrance a drier, woodier texture, while cashmeran and violet fill in a soft, slightly powdery middle that keeps it from feeling austere — this is arguably the most interesting stretch of the wear, since the violet's soft floral quality and the cedar's dry woodiness sit in gentle tension rather than blending into one flat accord. In the later hours, musk, oakmoss and amberwood settle in and dominate, carrying the fragrance into a dry, earthy, woody-amber close that sits quietly and closely on skin rather than projecting outward. The scent arc is a steady move from green and citrus, through wood and soft floral, into moss and amber, without any single note taking over abruptly at any stage, which gives Aether a slow-burn, low-key character rather than a fragrance built around one dramatic moment.
Is It for Men or Women?
No gender data has been supplied for Aether and its notes profile — green citrus, cedar, cashmeran, violet, oakmoss and amberwood — does not lean sharply toward either side, so it is presented as a unisex fragrance suited equally well to any wearer regardless of gender.
Who It's For
Aether suits anyone who wants a crisp, green, slightly mossy fragrance for everyday wear, built around a classic citrus-to-woody-chypre structure. Its green apple and bergamot opening keeps it fresh, while the cedar, oakmoss and amberwood base gives it enough depth to move comfortably from daytime into the evening.
