Oud Pour Leather suits anyone who wants a spiced, leathery fragrance with real texture rather than a soft or overly sweet oud interpretation. The mandarin-nutmeg-cumin opening gives it an unusual, distinctive start, and the leather-moss-oud base gives it enough substance to work well for cooler weather or evening occasions, particularly for anyone who already gravitates toward darker, more grounded compositions.

Product Details
Oud Pour Leather opens with mandarin, nutmeg and cumin, spiced and slightly warm from the first application. Violet, saffron and ambroxan bring a soft, mineral heart, before a leathery accord, moss, white musk and oud settle it into a dark, textured base.
What Does Khadlaj Oud Pour Leather Smell Like?
Oud Pour Leather opens with an unusual, spice-led trio: mandarin, nutmeg and cumin. Mandarin gives a soft, slightly sweet citrus lift, gentler than a sharper orange or grapefruit note, and it provides just enough brightness to keep the opening from feeling heavy. Nutmeg adds a warm, dry spice on top of it, while cumin brings a distinctive, slightly earthy, almost skin-like warmth that gives the top notes real character rather than a generic spiced-citrus feel. The combination reads as warm and a touch unusual, closer to a spice cabinet than a fruit bowl. Moving into the heart, violet, saffron and ambroxan take over. Violet contributes a soft, powdery floral quality, saffron carries some of the spice character forward from the top while adding its own warm, faintly leathery note, and ambroxan brings a smooth, slightly mineral, amber-like quality that is common in modern compositions for the lift it gives to whatever sits around it. Together these three notes form a heart that feels both soft and slightly metallic, an interesting midpoint between the spiced top and the dark base to come. The base is built from a leathery accord, moss, white musk and oud, and this is where the fragrance's name is earned most directly. The leathery accord gives a supple, worn-in texture rather than a harsh or smoky one, moss adds a dry, slightly green earthiness underneath it, white musk keeps the whole base clean and skin-close rather than heavy, and oud rounds it out with its familiar dark, resinous depth. The overall shape moves from spiced citrus, through powdery-mineral, into a dry, leathery, oud-tinged finish.
How Does It Develop Through the Day?
The opening stage is carried by mandarin, nutmeg and cumin together, and this combination gives an immediate impression of warmth rather than freshness — the mandarin softens what could otherwise be a heavier spice opening, but cumin in particular tends to be noticeable from the first moments and stays present for a reasonable stretch before beginning to fade. As the top notes settle, violet, saffron and ambroxan come forward, and the shift feels like a move from warm-spiced to soft-mineral: the powdery violet and the smooth ambroxan give this middle stage a different texture from the top, cooler and less overtly spiced, though the saffron keeps a thread of warmth running through it. This heart stage bridges reasonably smoothly into the base, since ambroxan in particular is often used precisely for how well it carries a composition from mid notes into a base. From there, the leathery accord, moss, white musk and oud begin to build, and by the later hours they have taken over fully. This final stage is where Oud Pour Leather spends much of its lasting life on the skin — a dry, leathery, slightly mossy base with oud's depth running underneath and white musk keeping it from feeling too heavy. Across the whole wear, the fragrance moves from spiced-warm, through soft-mineral, into dry-leathery, with the transitions handled gradually rather than as sharp breaks.
Is It for Men or Women?
Oud Pour Leather is a unisex fragrance. The mandarin-nutmeg-cumin opening and the leather-oud base carry some of the depth often associated with masculine-marketed fragrances, but the soft violet and ambroxan heart balances that out, and nothing in the note structure is decisive enough to rule out either side.
