Oud Pure Oud Barakat is a 2025 Woody (Oriental Woody) fragrance from Khadlaj, composed by Mohammed Iqbal Katchi. It opens on nagarmotha, saffron and vetiver — nagarmotha brings a smoky, earthy edge, saffron adds a dry, leathery spice, and vetiver keeps the opening grounded rather than sweet. The heart repeats saffron alongside musk, which softens the spice into something rounder and skin-close. The base is built entirely on oud, and it's the dominant accord throughout: woody sits at 100% strength and earthy at 95%, with oud itself at 77% and musky also at 77%. Wide range of budget friendly to relatively high end priced perfume brands. Rayhan, Armaf, French Avenue, Brandy, Lattafa just to mention a few. They also sell a 10ml of any brand you like, good for testing before you commit to the whole bottle.

FG Perfumes is the sole South African distributor for Khadlaj Perfumes. Mohamed Iqbal Abdul Sattar founded the brand in the United Arab Emirates in 1997 and is still its master perfumer. Khadlaj makes Arabic and French perfumes, and oud and rose are its specialities.
