Fragrance Notes
The first impression, and usually the lightest part of the fragrance. These notes evaporate first, which is how a fragrance is built to open.
As well as the top notes fading, your nose adapts to a constant scent and stops registering it, while people nearby still smell it. Smell your wrist after leaving the room, or ask someone close.
The main body of the scent, emerging as the top notes fade. It shapes how the fragrance smells once it settles on skin.

Heavier molecules that evaporate slowly, like woods, musk, amber and oud. They are there from the start, and they are what remains once the rest has faded.

TL;DR
- Fruity floral gourmand, tart raspberry-forward opening
- Longevity: moderate
- Sillage: moderate
- Similar to: Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum by Roberto Cavalli
- Best for: daytime, spring wear
Lattafa Washwashah opens with raspberry, bitter orange and pink pepper, moving into tuberose, orange flower, jasmine, osmanthus and neroli, before tonka bean, vanilla, musk, benzoin, cashmirwood and amber settle in. 45% of wearers call it moderate for longevity, with moderate sillage in total.
What Does Lattafa Washwashah Smell Like?
The top opens fruity and lightly spicy: raspberry brings a juicy sweetness, bitter orange sharpens it with a slightly bitter citrus edge, and pink pepper adds a faint prickle that keeps the opening from turning flat. The middle is a dense white-and-orange-blossom floral bouquet, tuberose, French orange flower, jasmine, osmanthus and neroli layer over each other for a rich, creamy floral core rather than a single dominant flower, and the effect is fuller and heavier than a simple single-note floral. The base turns gourmand: tonka bean and vanilla bring a warm, slightly powdery sweetness, benzoin and cashmirwood add resinous woody depth underneath that sweetness, musk smooths the whole composition together, and amber closes it with a soft, lingering warmth. In total it reads as a fruity-floral-gourmand, sweet without tipping into candy-like territory, and the contrast between the tart raspberry-bitter orange opening and the warm tonka-vanilla base is what carries the composition.
How Does It Develop Through the Day?
Early wear is led by the raspberry, bitter orange and pink pepper opening, bright and slightly tart, and this phase is fairly short-lived compared with what follows. Within the first hour the floral bouquet of tuberose, orange flower, jasmine, osmanthus and neroli takes over, giving a fuller, creamier phase that lasts through the middle of the wear and is where the fragrance spends most of its time. By the later hours, tonka bean, vanilla, benzoin, cashmirwood, musk and amber take the composition into a warmer, sweeter, woodier close that sits closer to skin, with the earlier fruit and florals mostly faded by that point.
How Long Does It Last, and How Strong Is It?
Fragrantica community voting puts moderate longevity as the largest single group at around 45%, with long lasting and eternal together accounting for close to a third of responses, and weaker ratings a smaller share still. Sillage is mostly moderate, with strong projection reported by around a fifth of voters and a smaller enormous-projection group, so it reads as present but not overwhelming for most wearers across a typical day.
What Season Is It For?
Season voting spreads fairly evenly across the year, with spring the largest single share at around 35%, summer and autumn close behind, and winter the smallest by a clear margin. The fruity-floral-gourmand profile and moderate sillage make it a reasonable fit for spring and summer daytime wear, which the day-vote data also favours at close to three in four responses, though the warm tonka-vanilla base means it is not out of place in cooler months either.
Is It for Men or Women?
Lattafa Washwashah is marketed as a women's fragrance, and community gender voting agrees decisively, with the large majority of responses recording it as female or female-leaning and only a small remainder split between unisex and male.
What Is It Similar To?
Fragrantica's similarity data links Lattafa Washwashah to Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum by Roberto Cavalli, a fragrance built around a related fruity-floral structure. The comparison is a reference point for buyers familiar with that brand rather than a claim of an identical scent, since the concentration and exact note balance differ.
Who It's For
Lattafa Washwashah suits anyone drawn to a fruity, layered white-floral opening that settles into a warm, gourmand base. The moderate sillage and largely moderate longevity make it an easy, comfortable wear for daytime, and the spring lean in community voting fits it well for warmer-weather rotation.

Lattafa Perfumes started in Dubai in 1980, and the family who founded it still runs the company. Its name comes from the Arabic words for kindness and pleasantness. Lattafa perfumes range from sweet gourmands to bold ouds, at prices well below designer brands.
