Fragrance Notes
The first impression, and usually the lightest part of the fragrance. These notes evaporate first, which is how a fragrance is built to open.
As well as the top notes fading, your nose adapts to a constant scent and stops registering it, while people nearby still smell it. Smell your wrist after leaving the room, or ask someone close.
The main body of the scent, emerging as the top notes fade. It shapes how the fragrance smells once it settles on skin.

Heavier molecules that evaporate slowly, like woods, musk, amber and oud. They are there from the start, and they are what remains once the rest has faded.

Product Details
TL;DR
- Woody spicy, with a bright citrus opening over moss
- Sillage: strong
- Similar to: Absolu Aventus by Creed
Blackcurrant, bergamot and grapefruit open Mykonos Inferno, before cardamom, ginger, nutmeg, clove and rose build a spicy heart. The base is oakmoss, tonka, musk, amber, patchouli and vetiver, a green, earthy finish true to the woody spicy family.
How Does It Develop Through the Day?
The opening is bright citrus, the sharp lift you get from peeling an orange, coming from the bergamot and grapefruit, with blackcurrant adding a tart edge. That is the strongest impression early on. From there the heart turns to spice: cardamom and ginger give a cool, peppery warmth, nutmeg and clove bring the baking end of the spice shelf, and a little rose softens the edges so the spice does not turn harsh. The base is where it spends most of its life. Oakmoss leads, giving the smell of damp forest floor, green and slightly bitter, held up by vetiver and patchouli, while tonka, amber and musk add a soft, warm sweetness that keeps the earthiness from turning sour.
What Is It Similar To?
Mykonos Inferno is frequently compared to Absolu Aventus by Creed - it shares the citrus-over-moss shape, opening bright and tart before settling into a mossy, woody base. The structure is similar rather than the same fragrance, so if Aventus's shape appeals to you, this is worth trying. If you'd rather stay with something FG carries, Supremacy Collector's Edition Pour Homme by Afnan is a similar-style option and is in stock.
Where Can I Buy It in South Africa?

Who It's For
Mykonos Inferno is a 2025 release, built around moss and spice rather than sweetness. Wearers voting on Fragrantica put its sillage at strong, so one or two sprays is a sensible start. Anyone who likes a citrus opening that settles into spice and damp moss will find it worth wearing.
